The Labour councillors running Newport have introduced a policy which says the council will not repair or replace parks when they fall into disrepair.

Newport Liberal Democrats are committed to opening a new water feature and to investing in play areas across the city should they win in next years election. They also have a plan to invest £750,000 in local parks over five years, including a new water feature in Tredegar Park.
