Newport has a long tradition of radicalism and willingness to stand up and be different.
Whether the Chartists fighting for a fresh start to a broken political system, its melting pot of diverse cultures and communities, its underground alternative scene, or its stubborn, die-hard football and rugby fans, Newport is a city with communities that care for each other.
It has incredible resources, but it has often been neglected by the Welsh Government, and taken for granted by successive Labour councils.
As a local party, we are here to offer something different.
Politics rooted in the community, with activists who have been fighting for communities for years.
If you want Newport to be better, if you think it deserves better, we are the party for you.
